Bento Popin' Cookin'

Had trouble sleeping and decided to try my hand on the bento version of Popin' Cookin', a range of Japanese play-candy. The whole concept of playing with food fascinates me and there are so many cool interesting types in Japan!

Before they were available locally, managed to buy some from an online store. The unfortunate thing was, I forgotten about them until now and they have all gone bad. Dang!!

Though they are not longer edible, it was still fun making the itty bitty pieces of bento food. From packs of powder to fake candy rice, candy paste and gummy jelly. It's amazing how the rice felt like the real thing!

Don't worry if you can't read Japanese because the instructions are quite simple and easy to follow.
